Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI), particularly Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs), is transforming academic research and scientific writing by improving literature discovery, data analysis, experimental design, manuscript drafting, and language refinement. This review examines the integration of AI across the research structuring while highlighting its applications in agricultural, environmental, GIS, and health-related or scientific research. We have use  some narrative or  literature review of recent publications and international ethical guidelines.Hence the  study evaluates both the opportunities and challenges associated with AI-assisted research wherebye AI significantly enhances research efficiency, productivity, and writing quality. However  AI text generation or outputs has introduces risks such as AI-giarism ,algorithmetric bias, fabricated citations (AI hallucinations), plagiarism, authorship role concerns, and reduced critical thinking wth the objective to address these challenges headon we proposes in this review a human-centred AI framework that positions AI as a decision-support tool rather than an autonomous researcher. The framework  to illustrate this protocol will lay more emphasis to endeavor to check human oversight, critical verification, data cross-validation,accuracy in methodology layout design , analysis ,transparency, and responsible disclosure of AI use throughout the research process. The study concludes that AI can substantially improve postgraduate research and scientific publishing  in environmental, health and technological specialization  when they are used ethically under established academic integrity. Practical guidelines are provided to assist researchers in integrating AI responsibly without compromising scientific metrics, originality, or publication standards. Ethical considerations including hallucination control, citation accuracy, and adherence to publication guidelines remain essential to ensuring responsible AI‑supported scientific communication.
