Abstract

In the contemporary business environment, effective communication has become a fundamental prerequisite for successful participation in global entrepreneurship. Language plays a central role in facilitating communication, enabling the exchange of information, the development of trust, and the establishment of sustainable business relationships among partners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Although the importance of language in international business has been widely acknowledged, existing studies often examine linguistic and cultural dimensions separately, leaving limited conceptual integration of their combined influence on business communication.

This paper provides a conceptual review of the existing literature to examine the role of language as a key determinant of effective communication in global entrepreneurship. Using descriptive, analytical, and comparative approaches, the study synthesizes previous theoretical and empirical contributions concerning language, business communication, and the challenges associated with linguistic and cultural diversity in international business environments.

The review demonstrates that language proficiency and intercultural communication competence are mutually reinforcing factors that contribute to more effective collaboration, stronger business relationships, and improved organizational performance in global markets. Furthermore, the paper highlights the importance of developing communication strategies that help organizations overcome linguistic and cultural barriers in international business interactions.

By integrating findings from the existing literature, this study contributes to a broader conceptual understanding of the relationship between language and communication in global entrepreneurship and identifies directions for future research on effective communication in increasingly internationalized business environments.
